A few years after its inception, the company started dealing with a large volume of Sri Lankan produce, thereby, becoming one of the leading exporters in the market. This, also, led the company to realise the necessity and importance of having its own farming operation.
As a result, it entered the entirely new venture of farming in the beginning of 2010. Now, the company maintains approximately 150 acres of agricultural farmland across three different locations in Sri Lanka. All three farms cultivate one or more of the fruits and vegetables required for export, namely Red Lady Papaya, Cassava (Tapioca), Pineapples, Snake Gourd and several other vegetables, depending on the soil and the climatic conditions suitable for each variety of produce. Each farm has been equipped with advanced irrigation systems and modern technology to ensure that the quality of produce adheres to international standards. The farms are managed by handpicked members of staff with expert knowledge and a highly skilled, experienced labor force.
